I was a pretty good artist for a kid way back when, I remember "John Dillinger" on the cover of Time magazine and i did a nice job redrawing it for a picture I brought to school. Even the teacher thought I had traced it but there was no police involved, I think today there are many people that are afraid and some looking for any reason to enforce their authority. Was This in Canada or USA that that the incident occurred, anyone know?? I saw some reference to Ontario, Canada is why I ask.

A father is demanding answers from police after he was arrested because his four-year-old daughter drew a picture of a handgun in class.
Jessie Sansone, 26, arrived to Forest Hills public school in Waterloo, Ontario to pick up his daughter, Neaveh, when he was hauled to a station and strip-searched.
No charges were filed, however, a voluntary search of the family home uncovered no more than a plastic toy gun.

If what they say is all true and he had no record etc. then I wonder if he has some kind of "case" that he could be reimbursed, compensated ,,,even if they do, the simple injustice that even when announced innocent many will still look at him as though he did something wrong. People seem to be that way.

Well they searched his home and found toy gun kids play with like half of us did as kids..they know they are in the wrong for this as they are investigating more
1) no basis for arrest 2) children were questioned by childrens services without guardian or rep. present 3)wife was also brought in for questioning..
All for a picture plastic toy gun...more than legal grounds.

If you had done it today, you'd probably ended up in Juvenile Hall for your Effort! My Teacher used to bring his Military Rifle to School every late Summer, for Dry Target-Practice,so his Boys would have an Edge in the Fall Shooting Champion-Ships! Nothing was ever said,no one batted an Eye! Most of us even had access to live ammunition, but we all knew that was absolutely Taboo!

My oh my how times have changed.. When I went to high school, there were cadet training after school, of course they had rifles.. had to learn how to hold them.. no ammo that I remember.. but it was something to be proud of...
This story depicts how stupid things have become.. a childs drawing.. causing all this suspicion.. I hope the father gets himself a lawyer and has a right go backatthem..
