In response to: when someone wants to accept islam he/she should declare Shahada, which says -- THERE IS NO GOD but only Allah, Muhammad (sW) is the last and final messenger from Allah. so the atheist people have done half of the job to become muslim by declaring THERE IS NO GOD. now just to accept the part " but only Allah, Muhammad (sW) is the last and final messenger from Allah."

most of the people who believe in God are doing blind belief - he is a Christian, because his father is a Christian; he is a Hindu, because his father is a Hindu; the majority of the people in the world are blindly following the religion of their fathers/mothers. An atheist, on the other hand, even though he may belong to a religious family, uses his intellect to deny the existence of God; what ever concept or qualities of God he may have learnt in his religion may not seem to be logical to him.

My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god.

The original concept of God is described here

You're an idiot. No matter if it is GOD , ALLAH or any other name, it is still a diety. Any supernatural being is included in atheism. If you want to have an imaginary friend, fine, but stop trying to make stupid comments about Atheism.

You looking at country or population as there is a difference as Indonesia, Malaysia, turkey, Egypt are some of the bigger in Islamic population and are highly educated. The lack of wealth for education in a lot of the smaller countries is a problem but it is a epidemic in all religions and culture as only really 20% of the world have the wealth to provide a good education. Also one must understand all media is biased to a certain extent so would love to know where you got this education figures?

The following article is not about religion ... it´s about how each of us perceives the colours we see around us ... It´s about perception in other words. The example you used with the book and the pen made me think of it!!!

So in the same way you attempt to explain YOUR perception of what´s going on with atheits, I´d like to highlight that EVERYTHING we think, see, believe is nothing more than OUR perception of it!!!

chris27292729: And you OP blindly believe in Islam as your parents were muslims. Another thread of yours trying to "sell"religion. By the way your "prophet" never came in my dreams,Just for your INFO. All the holy religious books, have been written by humans, and humans can be mistaken in their writings,or how they interpreted the wishes of the "supposedly" God.Am sure the Quran does not say, that all muslims have to grow a beard, like you do,does it????

i never said that you'll see our Prophet in your dreams, but you'll see something very strange in your dream related to islam. its only when you did the pray regularly for a week

Qur'an asks us to follow Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions in every possible way. the Prophet and all his companions had long beard. hence you'll find all the dedicated muslims have beard like me

If I was looking for god, I would have looked for a relevant site, but no I am looking for love so therefore religion is not at the top of my list of priorities. If a person chooses to be an atheiest than that is their decision it make no difference if you agree or don't agree that is the freedom of choice.
And might I be right in saying that you are muslim, because your parents were muslim.

Not just mistaken,,, downright evil,,,,. As far as I'm concerned,,, religion Is the Great Deceiver and Accuser of the scriptures. In other words the real devil. A lot of people are possessed by that demon and are in need of a true exorcism.

wolfenfun: woah there,mr christian i'll just steamroll over everyone who does not believe like i do guy. it's true i'm a bloody yank, but here much to my chagrine, this country is known as being,a christian country, but i do believe that everyone does have the right to peaceful worship. now let's look at this country's record; out of the last 300 yrs, less than 30 yrs of peace. does that seem a little imbalanced to even you?
who said I belong to any religion? I oppose all religion because they all murder for some Schizophrenic ideas.
