She may not be. Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped by Philip Garrido and his wife Nancy in 1991 and 18 years later she was rescued by police. It just shows you there is always hope. Anyway I think its unfair to the family speculate when we don't know all the facts.

its a dating site with a social forum with multiple topic selections.....not every topic here has to be about dating Just seen the news that a private detective believes he has found a shallow grave near to where she was last seen and thinks its her body

I think the parents would not like closure as the evidence the Portuguese police collected always pointed in their direction. The portuguese prosecutor just stated it would be difficult to get a conviction in court. But new evidence might point at them!
I have to admit, I found the whole thing very suspicious to say the least!
Nothing appears to be as it was originally presented by the parents, time lines do not match up and statement made in the early stages of the investigation were then found to differ with later press statements given by the parents.
JMO, I have always suspected foul play in this case, reading through the transcripts, statements etc, a hell of a lot of things didn't add up..
Even down to the reaction of the parents, their behavior in front of the Police on the evening in question, the body language of both parents in the initial TV appeals was very strange indeed..
My ONLY hope is that one day this poor little tyke Maddie, will get the justice she deserves...
