I will tell you my thoughts first..Im disgusted that any one would enter my country and protest against the laws of the land in this way..its inciting trouble from both sides

my sister married in france and her and her french husband moved here 20 yrs ago he has had no problems adapting to laws and says he would never return to live in france

Anyone is subject to the laws of the land he/she lives in. Freedom of speech is a privilege, as is the privilege to worship and believe what we choose with no fear of persecution or imprisonment.
If he/she breaks a law, he/she should be placed on the first plane out of the country with no opportunity to ever return. It should not be the country's taxpayers who pay for the law-breaker's imprisonment in this case.

You can't just ship your problems to another country, maybe its the ridged old view that a country belongs to a certain race that causes problems?

I lived for 7 years in a foreign country, I never once broke a law. If your going to live in a country it should be the individual who adapts. I didnt always agree with the system but I certainly lived within it.
