i really did fall in love with a woman i met on here,i thought everything was perfect but instead she fell in love with a guy from ireland good luck and good riddens!
Having lived in the Middle East I know several people with multiple marriages but that is not the meaning of post. What she is really asking is why are men polyamorous? (translates to many-loves).
Actually both men and women display a level of polyamorousness. The explanaition is in our ancestry.
Humans are simian (a species of ape). Most ape species demonstrate a degree of polyamorousness which is directly connected to the differential in bodyweight between the male and female. In the largest species (gorillas) the male is much larger than the female and thus maintains a sizable harem of many females which he alone services and defends.
For other species where the differential is less there is commensurately less partners for the male and for other species, the bodyweight of the male and female are exactly the same. These breeds are monogamous (one partner for life).
In humans the average weight of men is 20% more than that for women and thus as a species we show a moderate level of partner sharing (and some do still maintain harems!)
However the implication that it is only men who play around and hurt their partners is somewhat inaccurate. Obviously I don't think anybody believes it is a good idea to hurt people this way but it is an unfortunate consequence of some people's behaviors.
