I ride both road and dirt..have a son that we go dirt bike riding.. these days with the laws hard to find places to ride.. dirt bike normally ride either ..bairnsdale ..mt taylor or just past port welsh pool..vic.. easy tracks...also have some pretty seriuos ones..is worth while for those who ride...camping facilities..bbq toilets at mt taylor...

we used to go to ding creek down that way..great facilities...a shovel for a loo and the river for bathing...what more can a girl ask for ...

hi rivame yes all good fun..if you like bikes not many woman do though i am similar framed light 68 kg..also have a honda vfr 800 sports tourer..being small power to weight ratio...makes it a bit hairy in the wet..fun in the dry.. you can have some good weekends out in the bush..just let your hair down..thx for you reply...
one of the other rides i like on road bike is walhalla..old mining town the other side moe...only had electricity for about 10 years now... good ride twisty,heading in to walhalla..watch out for branches debri from the embankments....can be slippery in colder months..
pub there also welcomes bikes..good meals cold beer..worth a day/wend ride..
I used to race the GP circuit in Europe which is now called Motogp when younger and English speedway in the off season also built an off road training school here oz and ran it for some years have photo but can't seem to get them on here.

you must of been a talented rider...bikes have changed a lot now.. think it would of been harder physically when the bikes were less engineered...handling..suspension etc.. you must have a lot of memories from those days..thanks for the interest..
ys and a lot of riders killed be cause most were held I normal roads with guttering, light poles fences etc no run offs like today I broke both legs in the Isle of Man tt races on the slowest part of the course Governers Bridge at ten miles an hour due to wet leaves in gutter and being highsided into a light pole...but wouldn't have changed it for quids...I still race today in veteran races at the age of 75 and still fly my own planes

take my hat off to you..to race the tt..is madness at its best...love it. those riders are incredible..for 75 still to do the things your doing is amazing...you have a good life then..
