Zebaztian: This is maybe some kind of semi-virtual world and we are all avatars. But I know some men that would set themselves on fire for the action you mentioned.

Not my kind of men then laugh

Not my kind either. laugh

I am still naive enough to trust strangers who say they are good. In some way I can, with my male intuition feel when someone is evil, or just confused when they have told me a lie.

there are a few on here who I have been on here a long time with & a few who no longer post but I would trust nonetheless just because we were on here at one time together for a long time - I'd trust them - no one else - at least not automatically

Trust no one.

Take some time to get to know people and then decide.

I will try to answer your forum question this way: If you find yourself questioning whether or not you can trust someone or some thing, then the very fact that you have the question is what holds the answer. It's called "red flags", and many highly educated people from all disciplines recommend listening and abiding by your own red flags. Hope that helps.
