celticeyes1: Has anyone got their ex added as a friend on Facebook? I have and a few guys I was chatting to on here that I added to my facebook had a little hissy fit over my ex being a friend I'm amicable with my ex, we don't socialise together or anything like that but we do share information in regards to our child on facebook. I'm also friends with his ex wife and other kids with her on facebook too, I don't see a big deal in this
Nope I don't have my ex added as a friend on Facebook, now if there was an option for adding enemies on Facebook, he'd be there alright
I see nothing wrong with having your ex on Facebook, especially since ye are amicable and have children together so it's another way to communicate about the kids. To be honest any bloke that asked me to unfriend my ex (if he and I were FB friends) I'd run a mile. Control freak, hello??!

the reason a person is an ex is either because you or they decided that they wanted to reduce the emotional bond. I understand that where there's children involved that a certain type of relationship must be a factor. I can stand and speak to any of my ex's if I meet them by accident but I would never entertain going beyond that. I have seen some of them come on my screen several times but I think to myself "no more psycho/narcissist/bi polar ladies for me" thank you very much as I resume my conversation with a normal real woman. I think that's a definition of insanity "doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome" Now Its back to Important stuff like football.

wittyone: I can't see 'other' were do I find it on fb
If you go into messages on fb, it should be right below messages
Thats usually only for updates though from things you have subscribed to rather than friends. All messages whether they are on your list or not should go into the usual messages inbox.

Trust me lislea, the enemy is smart cookie and a stubborn cat. She knows I sent her messages. She accepted my oldest wee girl a friend because I asked her. Tells me she's at least listening to something. But I guess hell will have to freeze over before she talks to me.
