jimbo79: good bet tomorrow, first score to be a goal worth a punt
Yeah I read your comment a few pages back and I never considered that. Jeez last week it was 2 goals to 1 at the start What sort of odds do you normally get ?

Will chance a fiver. The match is on at 4 isn't it ? Hopefully it will be a better match than today's debacle
Never really liked hurling. Most matches are boring to me to be honest. When its played properly its fantastic but that's very few and far between am afraid.
jimbo79: not boring as a games but it is so predictable, kilkenny undefeated in leinster since 04 and before that it was 96, that is two defeats in 16 year, now i don't think kilkenny have some magic formula that makes them better hurlers, it is more so that the standards have dropped off so dramatically around the country, laois is a great example of how the middle tier has fallen, people have been raving at the progress carlow have made in recent years, i can't see it, it's just that the teams above us have fallen back, dark days for hurling ahead i feel. the gaa don't help things either, the new hurling center of excellence is to be placed in waterford, talk about preaching to the converted
Yeah I was listening to the match on the radio yesterday and in commentary it was mentioned that Kilkenny have won 28 of their last 29 games in Leinster. Martin Dempsey pointed out that in the mid and late nineties they were beating Offaly and Wexford but that a lot of those games were 1-4 wins, now Kilkenny win by 12-25 every time....

i went to it hoping we would get a game, i think dublin need to get away from daly and his old clare style hurling, that worked for two year under loughnanne. worrying times for hurling, both laois and westmeath hammered last night, offlay the same last week, the league final, clare and waterford was the game of the year so far but neither of them are contenders. mick dempsey is the real difference in kilkenny, i know cody gets all the credit but since dempsey came on board they have lost one game in 7 years
stanley8m: looked like they started too quick and hadn't got the fitness levels to keep to it over the 70 mins. Jeez I bet the Monaghan supporters were giving the Down Boys some stick at half time,, talk about getting out of that ground as quick as you can,,
most of them left with 10 minutes to go...thats loyal support for you
