theprowler: time to drown my sorrows down the pub.the dublin defeat will feel alot worse after 5 pints.
Enjoy your pints, I still can't get over the lack of support by Dublin fans tonight. Jeez even if as said earlier ye thought things were going wrong with the team, the Dubs should have been there to support the lads when they needed it most, sport isn't all about winning. Only a thousand out of over a million people
like , talk about unbelievable bad Loser attitude among supposedly GAA people.
shyjim75: Leinster needed a new winner. It was getting boring with the cats winning all the time.
Great win for the tribesmen. Totally deserving of the leinster title and to all those thousands of Galway supporters who travelled all the way across the country to cheer on their team, I applaude you. Well done.
martini100: lol no ur not he just got it wrong ! bless him
Galway play their hurling in Leinster since 2009....
Great win, delighted that Galway have finally made the breakthrough that they have been promising for so long now. Let's hope they can keep it going now

Oh and the Cats arent finished yet.
Thanks Stan nice to see a gracious Cat's fan here. I had a text from a friend another KK fan and he reckons the cats will be up for a serious backlash.

Ah us LilyCats are always gracious in defeat and humble in victory.
Great to see Joe getting a chance to climb the steps in Croker. The game needs players of that calibre, pure class.

Agreed with you there Stan,Joe Canning is pure class but Joe Cooney is a Hurling legend down that way. The only thing is Cooney should have won more All Irelands. Galway had a great team in the 80's and early 90's Cork and Tipp and the Cats were the main rivials then.

I remember Joe Cooney playing, and yeah, he was one of the best. Playing in Leinster will improve Galways chances of winning more All Ireland's, I know there were some in the game who were against it but I am glad to see it has worked out. A strong Leinster will benefit all the teams competing there and the game of hurling overall.
