A few years back I was walking my dog when I saw a young man with his small son, flying a kite on the local rugby field. A sudden gust of wind blew the kite into a tangle around the rugby posts, but he managed with impressive skill to free it.
I called over to congratulate him and could see he was beside himself with glee that he'd been such a superhero in front of his son and it had been witnessed by me for proof.
He was like, "Did you see it?! Did you see you see it?!!"
Such are precious moments in life.

I have to tell you about a beautiful sight I saw the other week as I drove into town. We were having some bad weather and the sea was rather rough, which brings out the parasurfers. There must have been about 30 kites out there on the water........all different colours.......and against the background of grey sky, it was breathtaking.
