fast_and_furious: why? In my eyes a healthy apperance speaks wonders

Not every over weight person eat's like a pig as you put it! some are over weight for medical reasons, it doesn't mean because they are over weight they don't have pride in their appearance.

I'm one of these lucky people that doesn't have to go to a gym. I do look good underneath my fur. Every check up I've had at my local quacks, I get a clean bill of health.

As for my personal apperance. I do scub up ok.

of course some are but that's a minority! My aunt has an over active thuroid! One the side effects is added weight so she works extra hard to keep that weight off her

fast_and_furious: ok the thread is about apperance! Ill put it bluntly do u like fat women who dress wise look good but are not physically attractive body wise?

You see this is where your argument falls apart and you look foolish as usual. Just because I or You may not find someone attractive does not mean they dont take pride in their apperance.

There are billions of women out there who dont find you attractive I bet but does that mean you don't take pride in you apperance?dunno

Your thread is BS like the last one of these you posted and show how immature you are really.roll eyes

fast_and_furious: Plus the chances are women who are in shape will pick up twice as man men as women who are overweight!

Fast alot of the brothers (black men)..Especially parts of Africa prefer over weight, large women.

He started a thread like this before just to give larger women stick. I think he was probably mailing someone and they insulyed him or blew him out so he decided to start this thread. It makes him feel better if he thinks he can belittle someone he may not find attractive.

Pride in your appearance is something that was usually nagged and nagged into myself and family from both Parents.

My Mother would fret and constantly get the ear buds out when we were visiting relations and give us a good warning not to dirty our good clothes and once home to change into normal clothing.

My Father aways drilled into us "your not going out looking like that " and was always polishing his shoes with real shoe polish and brushes ....It was an opportunity to sit with him and hear stories for me and I try to do this with mine today..

Working in the Construction Industry for years as a Brickie gave me the Physique i enjoy and made me appreciate going home after a dirty hard days graft getting out of the torn ripped dirty jeans and into clean ripped torn jeans ....

My first Presentation as a mature student was nerve racking a few years ago and the walk to the room full of others became stomach churning...Outside the room I looked at my reflection and thought "hey you look the part" as i was in my best clothes and cleaned up "Now lets project that positivity into my work"

So who said Nagging doesnt pay off

fast_and_furious: no it's because we are talking about heavyness and it comes into it!l

No it doesn't come into it. We are talking about pride in your apperance. You are the one who turned that into being fat or skinny. Everyone else seems to think it is a vast array of things and nothing to do with weight!

fast_and_furious: Living a general healthy lifestyle is the main way to take pride in your apperance!

Who says? You? Because I certainy dont think that! You can live an unhealty lifestyle and still care how you look.

fast_and_furious: Yes there are others! Dress sense general hygiene bit been healthy on a regular basis is the main way that's all I'm saying

The main way is not what you're saying. You are getting your opinion confused with fact again. A lot on here do that.roll eyes

care how u look how? For a women makin sure her hair is nice and her make up is on? Or for a man makin sure he has aftershave on and gel in his hair? Lol are u saying that living a general heathy lifestyle is not the biggest way to take pride in your apperance?

sofarsogood74: I know that. But you are not getting the point. Bodybuilders and fashion models dont live a healty lifestyle but they do take pride in their apperance. So that proves you can live an unhealty lifestyle and still take pride in your apperance.
Of course living a healty lifestyle has benefits. But if you dont live one it does not mean you dont take pride in your apperance.

I go to the gym most nights. I dont do it for my apperance at all. I would take pride in my apperance if I went to the gym or not.I do it because it helps me unwind after work. Thats it. Its a stress reliever.
cool! I disagree on first point tho! I'd be guessing many models do live a general healthy lifestyle
