Your nations record in treatment of it,s poor and destitute is appalling!
Not to mention the warmongering!
Sorry mate but that,s an ignorant statement you made,'

Totally agree with you tarris but they totally wont laugh Its hard to see the wood for the trees when you think you discovered the trees.

(I am not anti-american, I am pro-Earth. There is a big difference; for those americans ready to jump up and bite.)

Bluefish22: And the Tibetans chop up their dead and leave them out for the birds to eat.

It is someones job to chop them up. (The ground is too hard to dig)

Lovely.

I don't know if that even counts as a rite of passage.

Maths

All cultures(worth mentioning)have found use for it, however, all have made it their own. The fact that mathematics is not even universal really testaments to the fact that we don't share much that is strictly cultural.

We use language. Although, even still learning the Russian language does not make me a Russian.

Nope, some kind of rite of passage marking our death, that's got to be the closest thing to being universal.

Someone mentioned language which is a system symbol which allows peole to communicate with each other.A hand gesture unlike the middle finger salute which is so commonly used in the stateslaugh can be one way of saying 'Hello".

Also technology that lets different cultures communicte with one another.

Being on CS contains people from many different cultures too.

And even with love we're genetically primed to be most attracted to our own race.

lifeisadream: Siesta is an Spanish influence to our culture.

yeah yeah yeah...........these spanish know a thing or two. Personally, not being spanish, I take advantage of this culture in the summer...............cos it´s too bloody hot to do anything else, but, being the productive person that I am, I never do in the winter.

I just realized I repeated someone else's thought about a smile. However, the emotions of sadness, fear, and joy I think are recognizable around the world.
