Well, some people negate that they are shy, though they are.....and very few run to the other extreme (for which we use different verbal expressions altogether).........
Some people are simply easier to 'read' than some others because of their psychological make-up reflected in their visible physiological reactions to the stimuli of any kind.......
Shyness is lovely to me :))
