JUst with friends here in Finland, but plan to fly to UK in the new year for a week to see family.

This year it will be fairly low key. My daughter usually has a lot of people at her house for Christmas dinner but many of them have other plans so it will just be my daughter, her husband and me for dinner at her house. She's making her fantastic glazed ham, scalloped potatoes and green beens with almonds. I like simple food. Christmas cookies and blueberry coffeecake.
She invited me to stop over for a few minutes to her New Years Eve party but I'm not a New Years Eve person and I don't drink booze so I'll stay home. If I feel okay and the weather isn't bad I'll make an appetizer and stop in for just a minute to see people I haven't seen in awhile and then head on home, put my pajamas on and probably fall asleep on the couch before the clock hits midnight.

Got an invite for Christmas from a wonderful CS friend but unfortunately had already made plans with some local friends. We will be having a Honey Baked ham with lots of scrumtious sides and then probably play some cards.

Sadly, my plans are not panning out quite as I'd hoped. It will be a lovely time (within what I can control, to a degree) but the NY will bring changes I had not banked on but need to see through.......

I will spend the day with all of my family, from my Mam my sister here husband a their children, my brother and his partner and their 5 children, plus my own children and grandchild, 4 generation of us all spending the day together,
I am fortunate that I finished my second course of treatment on Friday and dont start the next one until Jan 3rd, so holiday time to spend with the family yay.

Thank you, hopefully the next round of treatment which will go on until May will single the end of the poisons being pumped into my body to make it better,

What are my plans, to go to the coast after work Christmas eve, spend the night. I got invited to spend time with a friend of mine and her family. But I declined, for as I will be at the coast to scatter the ashes of my mother. To let her go as well as for me to heal from the pain my family has caused me. Christmas is a time to be with family, but when you don't have one, it is kind of hard to be happy. After that, I plan to take a walk on the beach in the storm, and even sing Happy Birthday to Jesus
