Hello ,
I Don't know about you but do you find the chat room to be like a school yard when your seriously & genuinely trying to meet a decent person in view to a relationship ? I'm here , I'm very upfront & want to meet a nice decent , faithful & genuine person..I say military minded because I have always been very military minded ( mind set ) for those just to clarify ;)..IF there are any out there who can relate please feel free to let me know..would be nice to chat.

I Can more than understand everything said on " chat " , however idiots are not needed to make things even more complicated..they should have several different types of chat rooms ...one for these types would be good ..all in one box ;)

I think the chat room is great. I met a sweet and wonderful woman in the CS chat room, although that relationship ultimately did not work out.

I see you're in Australia. Since I work nights here in the US, when I visit the chat room it is almost exclusively populated by 'roos and kiwis. I have always found them friendly and fun.

But there's this: as with any chat room anywhere, it tends to be dominated by the regulars. Breaking in and getting comfy can seem daunting. You say you're military-minded? You must understand the concept of rank, then.

But it only takes about 3 days in a row of stopping by, being polite, and being friendly, to become one of those "regs." A tip to make yourself welcome: whenever someone comes in and everyone else says "Hi so-and-so," chime in. Couple days of that and everyone will welcome you.

(Although they don't actually say "Hi so-and-so." Instead, they echo the last letter of the user's name: "Userrrrrrrrrr," for example. That means they just noticed a familiar name enter. But you can just say "Hi so-and-so" when they do.)

Give it another try, they are sweet people generally.
