Yes, I went camping in the awesome Brecon Beacons, where the land is glacially formed and absolutely stunning, with my big sister to see it.
I was up at 4am doing my Pocahontas impression, pitails and all, round a meths stove, eagerly awaiting the day of days and the eclipse at 12 noon. My sister eventually got up at about 9am, got ready at a leisurely pace, went to the shop and looked at maps for ages and ages to find a nice place to see the eclipse, brought the maps back and sat in the car looking at maps for ages and ages...all the while the eclipse was rapidly eclipsing.
Eventually I just said, "Drive ffs, I don't care where!"
So we drove down a non-natural dual carriage way all the while the eclipse was eclipsing until it had nearly eclipsed.
"Pull over!", says I at 11.55am, so she did, opened all the doors of her car and put the radio on loud...so she could listen to the eclipse.
At this point I lost my cool with big sis, however superior her superiority complex and stomped off into a field just as the eclipse...eclipsed.
And all the animals went really quiet...
