Thanks. Yes, the supporting data for gold values is scare. I wish they would separate material holdings from gold stocks and projections. Given the cratering of precious metals, I'm still holding onto my 8,000 pre 1965 U.S. Washington and Liberty quarters.
galrads: We're all survivors. I'm happy and content with my level of living so, I sont see myself adding to any greed factor affecting the economy here.
On a sort of humorous level it upsets me that nowadays even the mundane match grade 243 Win or 260 Rem are exorbitantly expensive.......
galrads: My 243 win is 20 years old but I doubt I've put 100 rounds through it. I ran out of ground hogs on farms wher I had permissions to hunt. Dont tell your beloved Feinstein that I reload my own ammo, please.
galrads: Yeah, Know what you mean about reloads. My favorite reloads include nosler ballistic tips, with the right amount of win 231. they seem pretty accurate out to about 300 yards, only.
Out to some 300-400 yards it is doable, but can I match all those Sierra Matchkings, Bergers and Lapua Scenars loaded by reputable shops. ??? With extreme dedication yes and save some money, but not in my situation........... Plus my Sako TRG22 ,Savage 12 LRP are good out to about 1000 plus
By the way, I think we owe apology to our liberal friends, I am the culprit, was the first one to digress, as much as possible will try not to discuss these TERRIBLE ITEMS..........
The Treasury Department reported Tuesday that the national debt had topped $16 trillion, adding fuel to Republicans' criticisms of President Obama's deficit spending just as the Democrats are kicking off their national convention.
US federal debt is still a record high. This week it passed a milestone: the fourth straight year the deficit has passed the $1tn mark. As of today, the national debt stands at $16,066,241,407,385.80 (just over $16 trillion).

galrads: must be nice! I'm just out for varmint. you have better than national match grade stuff. Ever compete at camp perry, just outside of port clinton, ohio?
Never had a chance to. Actually I am aware, my main shortcoming, why I never became a truly expert sniper, I am not good under pressure, especially time stress. So while playing I show much better results be it weightlifting or shooting than when pitted against solid contenders. So in competition my best 100% hits would be 700 meters, while with my son I routinely did over 1000.
Again I failed!!!! But imagine how I feel in California, especially in Los Angeles where I am virtually the only gun owner and where the majority of men look and act like something else................... And liberals, liberals, hordes, throngs, crowds, mobs.!!!!! Realize that in some other places I would equally abhor the opposite types, all these church-going god -fearing ones..... Well, maybe it is just human nature to dislike most of other humans.
robplum: think it means every single American owes
$52148
Thank You RobPlum, while some like me abandoned the main subject You were diligently at it. Some single out that chimpanzee Bush, some blame Obama but the CCCCRisis would hit no matter who is at the helm, it is a systemic failure. I believe one of the earlier posts broaches the scary scenario of the market saturation when nobody needs Your goods any more. Wow......

do you mean, buy, if gold drops to $1,000.00 USD per ounce. Presently, it is valued at around $1,400.00 USD per ounce.
