i try, though for same reason i sort out outlook over outlook-express i
am reluctant to install the hotmail connector into my outlook.
The hotmail connector synchronizes all changes and mail with the hotmail server, in my books big no no.
Ali could access his hotmail online, only problem with that is the integration with office, i lost that with the version of office i use a long time ago. Anyway think gmail is better online option than most others, i've my gmail forwarding copy onto my outlook and that is ok. Hotmail has become ever more increasingly quite a pain, it won't work with my preferred version of FireFox so i'm stuck viewing hotmail mail online in a mobile phone format unless i access using Chrome, in short hotmail is a pain, offered a trail of the new look hotmail then block you from reverting back to preferred old version, cheeky sods even loaded contacts into Skype

you double click the install exe file and it will install in outlook
but be aware will insist that windows defender is running and will install anti spam function to
i don't use either those as kaspersky and malwarebites manages my security not microsoft
