I just saw this on Thejournal.ie and thought I'd share......

12 of the toughest questions you will ever be asked, but the one that jumped out at me is this:

Would you rather know when you will die or how you will die?

snowlynx: Definitely not.

It's an "either/or" question Snowy laugh

I'd rather know how, rather than when......not that I want to know either, but that would be the preference of the two

if you get when
and it says 20 years from now and after answer you kill yourself
then the test is flawed

I would only want to know "how" if I could change it (unless it involved Benico Del Torro, me and Tarantino smitten devil banana laugh )

As for the "when".....no...unless it is in work....then I have a great excuse to quit my job....god I'd be so bitter if I died in work very mad

When would probably be the best one to know, that way you could be damn sure to enjoy every last day you have and take out a huge loan and party party party thumbs up

Knowing how you are going to die would make the rest of your life so paranoid that you could end up not leaving the house or going on crazy experimental diets, drugs etc. in order to try to change the reasons for your death, which you already know, so it would be just a living hell. frustrated devil thumbs down

A light hearted one next.....

Would you rather step on a piece of lego, barefoot, every day for a week or get a single paper cut between your toes?

Sure isn't that the beauty of not knowing?
When you don't know and tomorrow may or may not be your last day, you'll live life for today because there is a chance you may not get to do the things that will make you or others happy tomorrow.

Glengirl: I'd imagine unexpected. How on earth could you get a paper cut between your toes though?
