Hi OP, I don't think you're a magnet for guys like this, these sites are filled with chancers, messers etc. - but also with some decent people, after a while you'll figure out who it who.
It is good that you have your standards, maybe think it over how you put them out - put blocks who can contact you into your mailbox and just ignore post of guys you are not interested in or give them a polite thanks, but no thanks - you will get your share of these kind of rejection as well.
Oh, and think over carefully how your word a thread next time.

Well, welcome to CS and don't have too high expectations on this site. This is a free dating site and also an international site, which makes it a real challenge to find MrRight close to you. This site like many other free dating sites is a play ground for scammers, who can basically live in your city or state if it suit their purposes. Many profiles have fake pictures or stolen pictures.

I have been using dating sites for 6 years now and although I haven't met Mr Right yet, I have met plenty of Mr Right For Nows, Mr Wrongs, a few Mr Almosts, and plenty of Mr Maybe's.
What I am trying to say is it's been great fun and I am sure a lot of your experiences are affected by your attitude. I am positive, open minded and not trying to pin down one person to be my Forever Man. If it happens GREAT, but if not then why not enjoy the adventure and fun along the way.
You can usually weed out the losers etc by TAKING YOUR TIME in getting to know them before you meet them, and by TAKING IT SLOWLY if you do start dating them. It doesn't take long for a man to show his true colours and you don't need to get involved with them until you really know them.
I've met lots of great guys who weren't right for me but have become amazing friends and are still in my life now even though we have never got involved. There is nothing wrong with staying friends even if you meet and there is no chemistry if you have a lot in common and similar interests.
I use this site to broaden my social life and if a knight in shining armour sweeps me off my feet along the way that's a great bonus.
I would suggest that you become more selective in who you get involved with and just lighten up a bit!!!!

There is an easy way to check if someone is using fake pictures ......
Go in to Google images and click on the little camera icon in the right hand side of the search bar. It will then give you an option to upload the image you want to do a search on.
Upload the persons photo that you want to check out and off you go ........ it will show you in seconds whether this picture has appeared elsewhere on the internet so if they have stolen somebody's facebook pic for example or are using a models pics you can suss them out within seconds!

There are two options.
1) Settle for a safe option and learn to love him however boring he may be.
2) Invest copious amount amounts of time and money into exercise/fashion/plastic surgery and become a red hot babe. Hot enough to extract commitment from even the most caddish and unlikely of sources.
