Every one lives his own reality, difffrent from one another. Reality are the things of all day, nice, sad, anger, pain, happy this is the reality for me. 
reality is only an illusion created by a lack of caffiene!
Reality is what you think it is.

If the observer has empathy, or understanding, they can understand another reality...

I think some choose the ignore reality out of fear, or necessity...depending.

Robin Williams once said that "Reality is just a crutch for people who can't cope with drugs"....while on the other paw, Lily Tomlin said that "Reality is but a collective hunch"....We all wrestle with "reality" most of our lives and some of us are happy when we win out over it...(what?) Look Reality in the eye and deny it; it's the old "different strokes for different folks medley...reality, it's over-rated, doesn't perform well and leaves most people unsatisfied...ahhhh back to my cognac....
I just need to look at you to see who sweet you are. 
The reality is that I HAVE to write 50 end of term reports, in Spanish,(most parents don't speak English) for my young students this weekend and I haven't started yet! Reports have to be worded very carefully, particularly for those who aren't doing so well, in order not to demotivate. REALITY SUCKS! 
Reality is all Jan GOOD & Bad 
The reality of it all, is that Living is a dying process. (as in... As soon as we're born, we start dying)
So it's upto you, what you do with the time inbetween, you can either strive to make whatever dreams or goals you have a reality, or you can do nothing, and act out whatever fantasies you have by emersing yourself into an alternative reality, where you can be whoever you want to be. (something that has the potential of being VERY dangerous, if you spend too much time pretending to be something you're not, as the line between reality and fantasy can be a very thin/blurred one).
There's a saying/Question.
"Am I a crazy person in a sane world, or am I a sane person in a Crazy world".
Sometimes opening the newspaper or watching the news, I find myself wondering the answer to that question, and it's tough to answer sometimes, looking at what's happening in the world at the moment.
Reality of Life = Keep you head down, try to stay out of trouble, try and do as much as you can with your life as you only get one shot, so maybe we need to live like we were dying (that way you'll see each day as a gift to treasured and used wisely).

Look around in the room you are ... then climb on a table and look around again ... the room appears now different to you even nothing else then your perspective about it changed ...

a cold winter morning, from under the sheets you can hear the wind blowing & rain falling...............but still you have to get up for work.
