The last reason on why I'm agnostic is because even though I grew up in a christian church, I've always had my doubts. Sometimes during church I wouldnt always trust the bible. I guess I can't believe if anythings true. I think the bible was written in a age where it wasnt as evolved as it is now. I think the bible has a bunch of mistakes in it

there are no MISTAKES in the Bible...just misunderstanding
I respect your religion, I really do. I just have my own beliefs and thoughts. And for me, I've always had my doubts on gods existence. I can't say he's not real, but nobody can prove that he is. And the first parts on my profile (:
I fully and willingly wholeheartedly believe in God. I also believe that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that means we were given brain cells, which we are supposed to use. Don't get me wrong. The Bible is marvelous. I read it a lot. But there are mistakes in regard to dates, exactness of events, and whether or not events even occurred. I'll give you two examples, and then please, do yourself an academic favor and research this. God won't mind at all. In fact, He WANTS us to do exactly that. Think outside the box. That's what we are supposed to do. It's an individual experience of spirituality, and different for everyone, and that's OK. 1. Proverbs 26:4 and Proverbs 26:5 say the exact opposite of each other.
2. Jeremiah 13:14: "..I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy..: Psalm 145:9: "The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works".
I am not trying to discourage or weaken faith at all. I have tons of faith. The Bible is jammed with inconsistencies, misunderstandings, and completely opposing views on the same text! Learn to think for yourself. It's a good thing.

"It appears to me (whether rightly or wrongly) that direct arguments against christianity and theism produce hardly any effect on the public; and freedom of thought is best promoted by the gradual illumination of men's minds which follows from the advance of science." (Darwin) "If we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities." (Voltaire) "I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism." (Einstein) "Faith means not wanting to know what is true." (Nietzsche) "I cannot believe in the immortality of the soul.... No, all this talk of an existence for us, as individuals, beyond the grave is wrong. It is born of our tenacity of life – our desire to go on living … our dread of coming to an end." (Edison) "The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." (Lincoln) "Religion is a byproduct of fear. For much of human history, it may have been a necessary evil, but why was it more evil than necessary? Isn't killing people in the name of God a pretty good definition of insanity?" (Arthur C. Clarke) "Religions are all alike – founded upon fables and mythologies." (Thomas Jefferson) "Say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith, I consider a capacity for it terrifying and absolutely vile." (Kurt Vonnegut) "Religion is based . . . mainly on fear . . . fear of the mysterious, fear of defeat, fear of death. Fear is the parent of cruelty, and therefore it is no wonder if cruelty and religion have gone hand in hand. . . . My own view on religion is that of Lucretius. I regard it as a disease born of fear and as a source of untold misery to the human race." (Bertrand Russell)

I believe you said there are no mistakes IN THE BIBLE. However, I am very aware that the New Testament is a beautiful and true book of hope and optimism, so I get where you're coming from. I still know many Christians who will make heartfelt statements about God's love and caring, yet be quick to vilify and draw and quarter anyone who doesn't see everything their way. It is that kind of thing that turns people off--the "you are loved unconditionally, but...." See what I mean? Christians are turning people off, rather than leading them to. It's cattywampus---
