Glengirl: I am strictly Coca Cola, full fat, none of that "diet" "zero" stuff, but it was only earlier this year that I was educated in the geography of coke......there is a distinct difference in the taste depending in which part of the states it's produced in
Obviously, we Irish import it all from the same place 'cos I've never come across this different taste over here
Kenn....I have a total phobia about pepsi so I'm sure I have mentioned it before
Yes, Coke does come in many different tastes, that's why I prefer Pepsi. My mother was a die hard Coke drinker and i was always sure to bring along some Pepsi whenever we had a family get together.

I actually like both, but prefer the Mexican Pepsi and Coca Cola in a glass bottle. It's less sweet.
2intrigued: Back in the days when I drank, it would be rum and coke. Gave up the drinking years ago but a tiny sip of Cafe Del Sol is yummy.
My father was not much of a drinker but when he had a drink it was Dark Navy Rum and coke. I tried it a few times and still shutter when I think about how it tasted. It must be an acquired taste.

Most of the friends I hung out with back then drank rum and coke...guess it was the popular drink back then. What I find nasty is beer...to me, that's an acquired taste.

Scotch & coke when I drank before becoming diabetic. I occassionally have a sweet white wine, love sweet stuff. Had pina coladas on cruise ship last year, yum, probably die happy with a bucket full of this.
