That is what I thought once and tried settle for it, but it did not work, and not sure I have changed within to accept now
But anyway, just wanted to share the story of two who found each other, and that even in show biz where few things lasts ^^

And weird.. I clicked on your link and again there were suggestions on the right, and low and behold a song from James Blunt with a lot of personal meaning in regards to the past.
I read a quote recently which seems to ring so true:
'Love when you are ready, not when you are lonely.'
Maybe it is important to learn to endure loneliness, so that we know when we do find love, it is for that love, and not because loneliness hurts and drives us to seek companionship.

The song Hurt was about Johnny's battle with drugs. His first encounter with drugs was when he was still picking cotton as a pup in Arkansas. He has actually admitted that BTW...Don't blame me I'm just the messenger.
I'd advise you to read his own life story he penned. Sofar, I was listening to Johnny Cash before you had even heard his name.

Because I feel something, Phoenix, when I watch those two in that video, at the end of their lifes... Look closely at her expression. She knew his battles, she had been the one to hold him and support him. They found each other and seem to have been meant to be each others hold and warmth in this world. He was still married as far as I know when he met her, and some could say 'how bad!' But the fact they ended together turning his life around, and that they grew old together and died parted only by a few months, I think shows that it was not bad or wrong, but right.
Like I said, it is not the song, but those two beings in the song, at their old age, and the pain and deep love you see in her eyes, the memories...

I never claimed he wrote it. I spoke about why he decided to sing it and his interpretation of the song. Deffo not the same ball paark. Please learn to read.
