I have the camera settings set to take a RAW file. Olympus produces a .ORF file, a massive amount of data a really big file about the size of a house commonly 13MB. So when the picture is imported into Picasa, go through the pictures and delete any obvious failures then crop what i want out of each photo to keep, before then using Picasa to convert the file into a .jpg format. Typically ending up with a 80 KB to 255 KB size .jpg file as Picasa converts the file from RAW to JPG.
Google earth images are typically .png file format.

The following links outline lot stuff i dunno about but you might like to take a look at what that all means (save me looking)

Image File Formats - JPG, TIF, PNG, GIF Which to use?

The algorithm of an image is actually derived from Buddhist thought, Form and Formlessness, both beginningless and endless.
Algorithm of form has equally and directly the opposite algorithm formlessness, both go hand in hand.

Attempted algorithm of single and partnered however leads constantly to complete disaster, as they are not opposites....

Am posting photos as they become available, took 166 picture yesterday morning however thus far today 0

grin don't know about that ,but do know you would have to give up tobacco if you had to pay to develop your photos . Getting familiar with my new one , trimming function not on it on the negative side , but having a single switch for still, panorama ,movie is handy . Panorama bloody confusing if you go to far .
