martini100: Has anyone tried / or on the Kanger evod vapour ones. i'm 4 weeks off the cigarettes now and i think it's great, just wondered if anyone else has tried it and how is it working for you?

well done and welcome back!

My Mum has one and is off them since the middle of July....that proves they work because she loved her ciggies!

Am waiting on mine ...... yay

Must say it has to be better than cigarettes as my Mother's cough is gone and her breathing is 100% better!

She had a chest infection everytime she got a cold and in July she was coughing up blood ..... so am delighted she has kicked the habit! Since then she got a head cold once and it did not go onto her chest!

Can't wait to join the smoke free clean people of Ireland and be all smug and sanctimonious laugh

Really glad for you Martini bouquet bouquet bouquet bouquet

ello stranger welcome back hug

just be careful that you don't get addicted to the electric siggies as nobody knows what the longterm effects of the chemicals used in them will have on humans dunno

i packed in the smokes just over a year ago cold turkey, best thing i ever did as i was smoking 40/60 siggies a day, first couple days were hard but it got easy after that and now even if people smoke around me, it dont bother me at all dancing cool

I had one, worked fine as long as I didn't drink, after a few pints I would be 'gimme that cancer death-stick'. Solved the issue by not going out on the lash and going to gym instead. It's been two months since my last cigarette. If I go out to the pub sometime, which I will around xmas I'll let you know how it goes.

The patches are useful for the first few days - but Paul Mckenna's Hypnotism CDs worked quite well for me.

I've been on'em and off'em for about a year and for me staying out of the pub has been the thing that really did it for me.

I started the blasted things to prove a point >.<
I was the ultimate anti-smoker, made it through all the peer pressure with EASE, and at 21 I ended with a bf who smoked and I realized when I was preaching that I didn't really have a clue, so I started to smoke to find out and prove to myself it was easy to stop.

Heavens.. only I can be THAT stupid frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated

I am down to few now, on the verge of giving up, but damn it I could really strangle myself for that through process back then blues

Cigarettes are extremely addictive......wish I knew just how when I started tbh.....no matter now though...am happy e-smoking and feel that even that will be very easy to give up if I wish. :)

I should have known, that's the thing. My mama was a chain smoker. She was on 3 to 4 packs of mentols a day, it was horrendous. Papa had smoked heavy too but quit at around 45 or so (which means I am still okay, I hope, as he had started earlier, and he had no problems from it, at 80 he still outdid most 30 to 40 year old guys in fitness).

I was just an arrogant idiot, really, thinking I was better than everyone else *blushes deeply* but oh boy was that a humbling experience bowing

My heart has set itself on someone else to do that (gave him plenty of reasons already, no doubt about that uh oh ) but if all fails I shall remember you are out there, although I sort of doubt I'd enjoy dying by your hands quite as much moping tongue
