Leah, I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Take things as slowly as you want, because anyone who is pushy my also be a nutcase.
Hopefully you'll meet someone nice soon and won't have to put up with nutters from the internet for much longer.
I had someone wanting me to be their taxi on boxing day, which was totally insulting, so you never know what depths others will stoop to. Needless to say i didn't oblige, as my days of being used are over, even at Xmas, when i wasn't doing anything.

hello l.k i personally dont see any point in rushing into relationships,i think its a mistake to do so,may seem ok in the short term but if any of us are to find"the one"then i dont think its gonna happen by rushing,,when i first separated from my ex i felt the urge to start a new relationship as soon as possible,it was the "rebound" predicament,wanting a relationship for the sake of it...i had a long distance relationship which began on c.s but it ended after a few month,with hindsight i now know it was never going to work but at the time i couldnt see that....so often i hear people on here (particurlarly the ones with more years of life experience and wisdom) say "let love find you,dont go chasing after it too hard,it will happen when you least expect it"..i tend to agree with that theory but who knows....i do know that i arent going to chase it too hard anymore,for me at the moment if it happens it happens,if it doesnt then so be it...in the meantime im just gonna enjoy life....youre clearly a good person with lots going for you,im sure you,ll find someone who deserves you,,in the meantime enjoy the rest of youre christmas and have a fantastic new year....
