As these days it is so hot here, I spend the nights outside the house until late, watching the sky. It turns out that these last nights it look illuminated by the bright light of the full moon. The moon appears at about 10 PM, clearly reclining to the South and has this continuous displacement East/ West.
Then pops to mind asking myself how does look like the moon in other parts of the world, and I'm not really sure.
My specific question is then: how does look like the moon in the place where you live? If it is night there right now, you might just look to the sky. If it is day... well, perhaps you remember how it looked like the night before, or if you remember you could look at it tonight and tell us.

I'm a sometimes Amateur Astronomer. I use a program called Stellarium. You can simply change the location or time and you can see what the moon will look like in it's place in the sky (or any other celestial body for that matter).

Ohhh! So there is full moon also in USA then. Here we call it 'luna llena' so I suppose by simple translation you call it 'full moon'.

Ok. So the only difference between USA and Argentina is because I see the moon on the Northern part of the sky (sorry, I said it wrong in my first post) and you see it on the southern part of the sky (I guess)
BTW I didn't get the joke, but I suppose it is due to language barrier

Translation for Leonardo:

"Llena, redonda y pálida con un gran cráter asomando.
Oh espera... Esa es mi vecina mostrándome la cola de nuevo"

Mooning: es cuando una persona se baja los pantalones y te muestra las nalgas.

Como solía hacerlo Axl de Guns N' Roses desde el balcón.

Espero haber ayudado.

The waxing and waning of the moon, yep its tricky sometimes trying to work it out, every now and then it sets south in the evening while its still bright or light, looks fantastic when its a half moon through a good reflector telescope as you can see the details of the craters or the shadows. Jupiter a few weeks ago on a clear night all its moons were in perfect line at the bottom of Jupiter, Jupiter like the moon is good to look at on a clear night but the best sight of the year through a telescope is the Orion nebula as you can see the star forming region right in the nebula.
