Yes I agree to a certain extent, here in Finland there are only 5 million people in a country the size of England you notice the space and aren't, in competition with others for territory.
It has been found when rays are crowded they become more aggressive and territorial.
But with crowds it is even more obvious when a child (young child ) is alone and your instinct is to help, but this is being suppressed by peoples fear they will be thought of as a p*dophile, because of the witch hunts brought on by the politically correct mob.

I agree, PC certainly does exacerbate self-interest and weaken the social good, but PC itself comes from the asocial masses of the cosmopolitan city-swamp. But it's not just the size of the group that matters, but the diversity within the group. The greater the number, and the larger gulf within the number, the weaker the sense of fellow-feeling and the less likely that any individual is to come to the aid of another.

Obstinance_Works: I'll make it clear there are some people in villages that are asocial autisty and tend towards pc, but the highest concentration of these types are in the city(particularly world cites: London, New York, LA etc)and the institutions that command political correctness(academia, media, government)are also products of the modern city and all of its SpergLords.
Of course, cool people in the city and everywhere else know that PC is about as cool as AIDS, and only conform to the ideology to avoid punishment.

Doesn't surprise me...it seems that most people don't care anymore. A few weeks ago, a lady left her baby in her vehicle while she went shopping but an observant passerby spotted this and reported it so there are exceptions but sadly, not enough these days.
