300 girls learning at school, stolen away in Nigeria. This is what's going on in the world today.
We talk about prejudice, where are the World Leaders now? How would it be if 300 young girls, of you're country, were kidnapped, shockingly, the tears of the mothers fathers family would pierce their own hearts, forever. Let alone the tears and afraid how the girls are.
Where are they? They must cry all the time. Wanting to be back home with their family.
This is a shocking situation.
I might be in small New Zealand, but to have no World Wide Leaders or mine, can carry this forward, it is a total disgrace.
sophiasummer: Yes, Its really sad. Thank you. crazy is right, how do you steal 300 girls away?, but they did.

According to the reports, they will be sold as wives .... The US State Department said that tactical anti-terrorist troops and intelligents are working on the situation.

sophiasummer: We all need to find them. This is so wrong!
I agree sophiasummer, they must be terrified.
Here is a link from bbc with the latest, it seems they have been kidnapped by the Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group, they are against western influence and education in their country.

One year ago this month, Boko Haram's leader Abubakar Shekau released a video announcing a new, reprehensible front in its bloody attempt at forced Islamism: his fighters will begin abducting girls and selling them. The kidnappings, he said, were retaliation for Nigerian security forces nabbing the wives and children of group members. And for 12 months, the radical militant group has done just that -- with Nigerians treating the sporadic kidnappings with disgust but resignation. But that's changed now.

Just imagine if 276 girls had been kidnapped in the United States. The response would be mass outrage and a forceful demand for a response. As borders become more irrelevant for terrorists, the whole world needs to take notice of the likes of Boko Haram. "We need to take ownership as if this happened in Chicago or this happened in Washington, D.C.," said Nicole Lee, outgoing president of the TransAfrica Forum. "We need to be talking about this. ... We need to make sure our own government is helping in any way that we can."
Unfortunately, these Girls won't be coming back. This group has been murdering Teachers and Students, since I have been reading about them for the last year.

Yes we need to do something. No Government is. Thank you
You can partly thank your NATO and EU/US leaders for this for their action in Libya. It's almost directly related in the context of the bordering countries.
