Never Judge a book by it's cover....read it first... (57)

I've always been an open book and indeed I can write some essays....
Life is a journey of essays though! It leaves nothing out...so why should we.
So many times people want to make their life a short story leaving things out.
Then they wonder why people don't understand them.
This who always want it short sweet and to the point are usually hiding their flaws,
Expecting you to be a mind reader or they want to mold someone into being what they want.
But only because they live in fear of being who they are....
Fear causes lies...lies cause destruction...
Be strong and be you.....we need no one.....
We want to connect with someone...or like minded people....
But we need no one...

Sometimes....many times...people say they can't remember....unless they are feeble minded...they remember. We are are who and what we are because of our past. We all know that. Unfortunately, most people see it as a sign of weakness by either admitting it, or talking through it and teaching the lessons in it. wink

your whole philosophy is built on assumptions not fact. People remember very little years after especially in crises. You should actually educate your self in the area of psychology first my dear.

you failed to even glance at the information I posted and then challenge it with a valid contribution. So when you are challenged in the intellectual department you simply fail but you still insist of being right. ..so much for furthering any intelligent conversation. laugh

I would fundamentally disagree with your argument. Rule of thumb regarding silly studies...is any studies that were published more than 10yrs ago are never considered to be a relavent bases for an argument. No student at Harvard would be allowed to use this study. This "article" is just that...an article. Presenting an article from BoingBoing is as intellectual argument is as the same non intellectual quality I I've seen on facebook. This is not and intelligent intellectual argument....this is an opinion.

With this being said......the way you are presenting this...you think everyone is a liar!?

Misogyny comes to mind here...roll eyes

This is definitely where you are wrong.....I called my daughter and son in law who studies on this subject! Now.......it's your turn to do your research and intelligently and intellectually seek ALL truths.....not pick and choose what you want to believe.

This reminded me of something. My late husband(don't know why they refer to a husband who has died as late but ok ) and I grew up together. One of the most valuable things he taught me was that if you lean on someone to hard in life you both stand a chance of falling. funny in way hmmm I married him after that and we leaned on each other and managed to be able to stand up in life. Thank you for bringing the memory back to my forefront bouquet

That's sweet......y'all became one with...like minded.....interdependent helping one a other and growing in life together. Big difference than believing you need "so,even...anyone" in your life. Y'all didn't need each other...y'all WANTED each other. teddybear and complimented each other...bouquet

I was willing to humble myself if I was wrong but your facts were. It all factual. Not every man on this site thinks like you. You are one of the few.....

According to recent studies attempting to prove our memory lies.....and so what comes out of our mouths regarding memory is lies.......the facts are, \
\
""" A recent study found the accuracy of fMRI for lie detection dropped to a mere 33 percent when participants used countermeasures during questioning.\
\
As neuroscientists like Wagner and University of Plymouth professor Giorgio Ganis see it, right now there isn\'92t enough evidence to support the use of fMRI for lie detection. \
\
\'93Any application of this technique in the real world is premature,\'94 says Ganis, who studies deception using brain imaging. However, with more sophisticated analysis and technology development, he concedes there may one day be a future for accurately detecting deception. """\
\
In conclusion that you say it's proven we don't remember....which in all essence means we lie about life events.....it can't not factually nor scientifically be proven. \
