Please give me the FACTS...updated scientific FACT that proves EVERYONE forgets. Just last year my father wanted to tell me this garbage.....telling me I wasn't remembering an incident properly and I was just man bashing as he always said since I was a little girl. 3 confirmations confirmed TO him....I remembered it correctly. I have learned though.....many choose not to remember. It's not that they can't......it's because they wanted to control the situation and be right instead do throwing away their false pride and ego that causes people to lie to themselves......justifying their bad behavior......just so they can feel good about themselves.

Now.....again...if science can't factually prove lies.....it can't prove everyone doesn't remember things properly.

Go ahead and reply....laughing at me....good on ya....but I'm done waisting time....

Just encase you don't understand correctly...if your memory is deceiving one then what is coming out of ones mouth is a lie....the person with a bad memory is a person who repeatedly lies....

That is probably unless there has been some major trauma...or major head injuries that causes memory loss...

And again....SCIENTIFICALLY...it is proven, not all memory is false...if there is Mr Know It All...please share with me your intellectual intelligent recourses ok!?

Individual differences in suggestibility

Not all people are equally likely to form false memories. Generally speaking, children and older adults are more suggestible than college students in most false memory paradigms, although there are a few exceptions to this rule. Suggestibility also tends to increase with higher scores on the Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES), a measure of distraction as well as less normal experiences such as hearing voices (Clancy et al. 2002; Eisen et al. 2001; Hyman et al. 1998). Understanding individual differences in suggestibility is an important direction for future research.

Conclusions

Many false memories are byproducts of processes that normally support veridical memory. It is efficient for the perceptual and memory systems to take shortcuts and focus on meaning extraction, since that will suffice in many cases. Similarly, oftentimes relying on familiarity or other external sources is a good strategy, because these can be accurate indicators of the past. However, the cost to these shortcuts is that neither a detailed memory nor a confidently held one is necessarily true. False memories can trick third party observers like juries and lawyers in addition to tricking the rememberer, and they can be very difficult to correct once a person becomes confident about an erroneous memory (often from repeatedly remembering the event a certain way).

no you didn't and you are still failing to understand even what you have posted as your latest evidence. Your last bit of evidence is exactly the same as the evidence you dismissed in my original post, which you claimed as not valid. Yet now you have the nerve to make false claims as if you actually know what the hell you are talking about. Again no you do not because you function purely on beliefs not facts. I have no further interest in discussing any topic with you in any shape or form because I unlike you am no an American Idiot.

Good...now that you got that out of the way, you need not associate yourself in a blog with and American idiot...it might rub off on you.

One thing I do know...an intelligent, intellectual, respectable man who had respect for himself, doesn't lower himself to bullying tactics...belittling and name calling. He's to busy wanting to teach...not be misogynous. If he wants someone to understand what he is saying, and isn't in need of getting back when a woman shows where he erred either. His confidence causes him to be humble. For every time I showed your err you used bullying tactics. Only a misogynous man would enjoy lowering himself to such grub standards. I've learned nothing from from you accept you want to use documentation that is ancient, you want to not listen and understand the other person, refuse to understand that we might even have a bit of a language barrier. And nor does it matter. And that's just fine with me.

Merriweather: We were having a discussion about this at work today.. so I think it is weird that I see it repeated here...

I was saying that my yoga teacher, who is now well into her 80's was always a devout catholic... and my colleague was saying that someone he knows , who does Raki... is going against the Catholic faith because of Raki.. ( I am not sure if that is the way to spell it)

I've never understood how organized religion said it was wrong to meditate in this manner. After all, Jesus meditated. History shows he spent much of his life in India where much of the above ways are taught. Unfortunately many religious leaders tell everyone to ONLY follow what the bible says to do. And many people forget that first of all there was never "a bible" in those days. And much of the scriptures were chosen by Constantinople who exploited Christianity for his own personal gain. There's enough in the bible though that can get anyone started on the full spiritual path. After all...were supposed to follow he ways of Jesus if we are claiming to be followers do The Christ, The Messiah, The Savior as he is called. Jesus showed and said clearly....do NOT following the traditions of man. If We believe Jesus is God in the flesh.....and Jesus refused to follow man's traditions...so are we.

Just say'n....

Yeah yoga and tai chi meditations both relate to energy and focusing mind.

Raki is spelt Reiki dunno about that one "Reiki is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui, which has since been adapted by various teachers of varying traditions."!
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy".
Reiki Australia's foundation is the spiritual, personal practice and healing art of Reiki.
Reiki is a natural form of healing therapy. It uses non-invasive gentle touch. This form of therapy aims to increase energy levels and promote relaxation and ...
Reiki Master and Holistic Therapies.

I've met people engaged in that, they embrace all religions or something, or something, they believe in god and buddha etc, anything probably
