I want to make a tunafish sandwich. I have a can of tuna and mayo, do I just mix them together? I have no onions or celery. Do I drain the tuna?

Yeah, squeeze as much of the brine/water/oil out of the tuna as possible and then mix with mayo.

D'ya need instructions on how how to open the bread packet? giggle

Yes, drain the liquid out of the can. If you don't have the celery and onion, just make it with the mayo and a bit of salt and pepper if you'd like. It won't be as tasty without the other ingredients but you might enjoy it. wave

I'll can only tell you how I would make it.......

First I go to my recipe drawer..... pull out the listing for sandwich shops, dial the number, order the sandwich and await the restaurant delivery driver, pay and eat......

No fuss, it comes with pickles

I love 'em even with just the mayo & tuna(and if you someday happen to find yourself w/o the mayo, don't drain the tuna quite so dry and just butter the bread).

But if one day you have the mayo and no tuna... well, then you're stuck grin

Is anybody interested to learn what kind of bread I used?

Oh good I'm glad you asked. It was Cobblestone Bread Company, Knead for Seed $3.49 per loaf - best by May 22, 2013. An excellent vintage.
