They showed the video on our local Cincy news tonight where it showed Rice hitting his wife. Then it showed where she fell on the floor outside the elevator.
Then it was reported that Janay rice was defending her husband.
I can't begin to understand why on earth would any woman still marry a man who hit her.I'd be long gone if a man did that to me.
When you look at the video - after he knocks her out - a big, strong man, twice her size and strength, - he doesn't bend down and check to see if she is alright or realize that what he has done is wrong...... no ..... it with indifference and cold heartedness, kicks at her with his foot like she is a thing or a carpet.....
He clearly demonstrated thanks to the new world of technology how much he dislikes her, how much he has no respect for her, no empathy, no compassion....
It appears as if this is not the first time this has happened and it appears as though he was heading into the elevator thinking there would be no cameras there, private and not observed.
Why we glorify these sports players as heros or folks to look up to, I have yet to figure out?
rebel2: He needs some of his own medicine, then lets see how he likes it.
He gets it all the time in the sport that he plays..... only he gets to wear a helmut.
I think the sport teaches him to his behavior.
When I was training my dog, a Rottweiller, a dog that is powerful and has strong jaws and a protective instinct I would not to hit him to stop bad behavior.
Because by hitting him, teaches him that those in power can solve problems by violence - and a dog learns that he then can solve his problems with violence.
If a simple creature like a dog can learn about the use of force, imagine what a human can learn.

The real heroes are right now in the middle east fighting tyranny.
All persons involved in any kind of sport they are trained for agressiveness specially football plus the drugs they've been taking makes them think they are in power, and show no respect for anyone.

I would suggest the majority of those involved in sport do not take drugs, and a determination to win does not always equate to aggressiveness surely.

The sport feeds his ego inside he is a weak spineless individual...drugs can of course aggravate his aggression.

You haven't see football players on practice.
Is all about brutality to hit his opponent as hard
peachmelba: Just to add that alot of sports teach self discipline ,,, self awareness, boxing and martial arts are great examples,,Of course we will always see certain types of individuals who are aggressive outside of the sport.
Sport is a great way to work off any negative emotions,,it's great for body mind and soul.
This man we are speaking of is obviously a very sick individual it has nothing to do with sport.
