One time my ex hubby let me sit behind the wheel of car to give me a lesson,
It was on a quiet stretch of road up an industrial estate where learners go in their cars,
I was fine for awhile then I put my foot down to much and he told me gently use my foot,
I'm too hard footed ,He told me to slow down but I got bit giddy lost control and he had to prevent me from going into a ditch.

I don't drive ,I just don't and no don't ask me why not ...
I'm fine I cycle,walk use public transport,
My ex hubby always needed the car for when is bleeper would go off as he in the fire brigade,
I know it's no excuse but I'm fine really I am.

So many questions about driving out there----my fave headache is --why is the guy directly behind me angry at ME for the four hundred cars not moving in front of me?? Like I can fly over them.....know what I mean?------ This thread is Archived ------

Ah I'm in a big town hoolet, and the town centre just 20 minite walk,beach just ten minites in car,my bro or cousins bring me,the country side just up the road,lol,all amenities around me,
If I want to go to Dublin I take the bus,
My ex hubby in fire brigade and he always needed car when his bleeper went so I never bothered,
I'm great on the bike,push bike,lol.
I know I just don't want to drive !im fine.

I know all to well to what you speak of.Been behind a shuttle truck while in construction zones and have people behind me honk their horns and yell out negative comments.
