It's been claimed that people who wear black it makes them appear slimmer. It's something that people in Hollywood learn to do while in front of the camera cause the camera puts a few extra pounds on whomever they are.

No, there are plenty of illusions you can use in tailoring to alter proportions and appearance. These techniques were well known in the early to mid 20th century when people made their own clothes more often. Now, most people have lost those skills and plain black is the simplest for people to follow.

You ever see the commercials that Marie Osmond does about weight loss and she wears black,at times stands at a sideways angles in front of the camera?
Yes I noticed that, also she says, why I'm still telling you abou this product? Cause it works, she said. What she doesn't says is that she keeps telling because she's getting paid for

jac they still use the same techniques cause even today that's why Marie Osmond wears black while doing her weight loss commercial. The camera can put an extra 10 lbs or so on someone.
Also the news reporters also wear makeup to cover up any flaws for the camera. Before you ask how do I know is because I watched a video of a news reporter put the make up on.

Kristy Alley did the very same commercial and once she got off it she gained the weight back. They make things look so darn easy on tv but they neglect to tell people just how long it takes to lose weight.
AS my mother used to say that she'd much rather be around a happy heavy person than be around a cranky skinny one who was always dieting to look like a toothpick. My mother was a pistol but she was a pistol. She always had problems with her weight but at least she was a happy one.
