As to the thread topic, nah, I don't want children. What I do want the man I fall in love with to say to me is that he is totally, completely and irrevocably in love with me too, and would I like to embark with him on an adventure, one that will take the rest of our lives as we explore life, love and each other.
skippyguy: actually i've had that ! i was about to pay, and she jumped in and paid up front ! *apparently* ....so she felt she did not *owe* me anything...hmmmm
Taking ""long time to know someone"",maybe, just maybe, the ""forever thing"",becomes an impossible dream. There is NO quarantee, even ""Plan out"",that staying together,is a forgone conclusion.
KNenagh: I want to find someone to love and share my life with - and him with me.
Marriage is a potential, but not "the goal" for me. It takes a long time to get to know someone and see if we would be compatible for the "forever"thing. I wouldn't even think of bringing children into the mix if I can't this working in the long run. Not fair on the children, partner and I wouldn't want to be a single mother if things are rushed and don't plan out.
I know of women wanting kids and I think it is fair to discuss if both people want children and want to go down that road early after meeting, but as a possibility and not just anyone will do.

Merriweather: not always Skippy... that could also mean...
I'll pay this time, so that NEXT time.. etc..
in this situation there was no next time, soooo was why i sought out why she wanted to pay up front at the start of the date....seems pre-conceived conclusions to me at times...
peachmelba: 6 months a year be plenty for the vitamin d ,.. Doctors orders, . ..
yes!, I actually do take Vitamin D twice a day that my doctor prescribes. It is good for many things. But sharing a sunshine is a really nice medicine I think.

Hey Dragos...
Sharing sunshine is lovely... but our sun here, does terrible things to our skin.. leaves awful brown marks, and sometimes, a good dose of skin cancer..
However, I know what you mean, the sunshine makes you smile as well..
