I have a question: E-Cigarette Smoking ( Archived) (7)

I have a question concerning the E-Cigarette smokers/smoking. Anyone that use these, care to enlighten me on a question?

I’ve noticed, when I see someone using one of these devices, that they appear to be taking “puffs” and exhaling more frequently, than with regular cigarette smoking. Almost as soon as they exhale, they are inhaling again.

Is this common, or am I just viewing these as a coincidence?
Is there a reason for this smoking behaviour? confused

Just curious, having been quit smoking for over 20+ years now…, I couldn't help but notice the oddity.

Thanks in advance for your input. ~JOHN~

yes.
my brother quit the e-cigaret because he didn't stop and he didn't need to move outside anymore. he smoked more and even constantly.

you should read more about addictions in general.
this is how nicotine works

Thanks for your reply, Len.

I have read, briefly the effects, of smoking... but not concerned for myself, but others. Even after 20+ years, I still have the urge to light one up each day, but not willing to corrupt my efforts of stopping for that "brief moment" of a cigarette.

I guess it will continue to be a "nagging" desire to light one up... but it "ain't gonna happen".
But I was curious if there was a reason for the "rapid puffs"....

Have a good day...

curious... i have noticed that my friend does that...puffs for frequently when using her e-smoke.

when i use mine, i tend to inhale just like a regular cigarette, and i use it less often because unlike a regular cigarette, i do get a stronger taste from it.

i use it to cut down on smoking.

Thanks Jono... for your additional info... I was thinking it was just me that had noticed the increase in frequency to inhale.

Wishing continued success with your efforts. I know, it ain't easy, to start with.
Have a great day....
