The reasons are quite well documented. The problem is that some women don't like the reasons (that have a big biological component to it)....
As to women tending to like guys wearing more than speedos.... well, I disagree. They like seeing someone like Hugh Jackman prancing around without a shirt on. They like looking a a tight well muscled male body naked.

I can only speak for myself but I prefer to unwrap the surprise than have it flaunted in my face.
Never found Hugh Jackman, or muscles, that attractive.....and I'm talking men of an age I would find attractive and a turn on, most of whom would just look ridiculous (in my eyes) in speedos regardless of how "fit" they were.

I don't like anyone "prancing around". I sometimes think that a bit "more" as in wearing clothes is more attractive - goes for both genders.
