Similarly, at work we have a bunch of engineers.
They have Women's Engineers Society. Also Black, Hispanic, Minority, Handicapped, Disadvantaged, and I don't know what else.
So some guy tried to form a White Engineers Society and a Male Engineer's Society (all races and genders welcomed to join)...
But NO! That was deemed discriminatory! Can't do that, no way!
Sigh.
Maybe I'll for an Old Fogies Engineering Society. We're on the endangered list after all.

That might be because you already have your own society where you get to be the majority and in charge. It's called the field of engineering.

'Abnormal' is not a word I've ever favoured, even when studying as an Applied Psychology undergraduate. It's a word I use rarely, usually in the context of something 'abnormal cells'.
'Dysfunctional' is a word mostly useful for humorous purposes, which is what I thought you were doing when you used it. Perhaps a little projection on my part (fnar, fnar).
