Fraya: Yeah I know . Men bare grudges something wicked, don't they? I mean they do appear to have longer memories where "hurt" is concerned.

Memories going back hundreds of years sometimes!

Grudges are usually a reflection of the horror inflicted so obviously men bear theirs longer.

Yeah, men don't like being set on fire. Story with that dunno

In my experience men feel hurt to their pride deeper than women.

I think men are overall more sensitive than women anyway.

I am not saying that in a pejorative way.

I just think it is so.

Agreed. I believe it to be so also. Nor do I state it in negative connotations but wonder why women are deemed as more sensitive when it come to relationship "hurt"

Because traditionally, men were brought up not to cry, show pain, etc., whereas women were encouraged to do so.

That does not always reflect the reality.

I wasn't told, I have seen for myself. Do you see this as an insult to men?

Consequently pain and grief in men is manifested in other ways

I suspect you are referring to the little things like "you said my bum looked big in this" laugh Where I am referring to bigger events like the end of a relationship or the death of a loved one. I find men feel it harder and hang on to it.

Exactly.
I think it is improving overall though.
I see my friends' sons encouraged to express their feelings as much as the girls, which is great.

Women just demonstrate hurt more and encouraged to talk about it,

Men have a wall to try block emotional pain,

The pain can manifest in different ways,

Rage.anger,lust ,addiction,could be to work,

Men are really very sensitive souls.
