I've never flown a plane, but have flown a glider before. It's something I've always wanted to do, but getting a pilot's licence isn't cheap, neither is buying a plane.
Lots of things I want to do....
Bird1977: Well that's understandable, respect works both ways and some people in authority don't get that. The 'power' goes to their head and they think they have the right to treat people any way they see fit. It's very difficult to learn and flourish in that kind of environment. School is not for everyone.

I was a lazy nerd, if that makes any sense? Loved English and history, to the degree that I used to read my text books 'for fun' in the summers before I started back. I despised Maths and anything science related, with a passion and was indifferent to everything else. I was a teachers pet by default, but in my case it was because I just genuinely liked most of them.

As you know I have an interest in them as well, and if I won a lottery, I'd have to build a bigger garage somewhere to house a collection of old vehicles. Might buy a small plane or two as well, if it was a really BIG win.
I'll get there eventually, well, with the house that is, not sure about all the rest. Some day the garage will be clean enough that I can bring some of the old cars indoors, hopefully before they all turn into piles of iron oxide.
