lindsyjones: I think this is the root of the problem Chris. The overindulgence of Germany to control and over run the whole system of Europe.
Having said that, this is a conundrum that she must settle for the rest of the world.
Solution is nowhere to be found and I believe that is the reason why she is slating for an emergency summit. This should be interesting and if I were there, I would definitely make her eat her own stink for lacking the insight to have foreseen this.

On top of that, the deception that she played underestimates the misery that the whole union is confronted with. Can she now say: "I am sorry but I thought I was doing a good job for them! At your expense."

In the meantime, I am sure that you are just as anxious as the world as to how Merkel will propose for a solution for this problem. I wouldn't be surprised if she would find a way to alleviate her responsibility and be insisting about her humanitarian motives.

Meantime on the editorial on page A8 is another headline and that is the training of this new workers for the jobs that are assigned.
Note: In the previous post it was the core of the discussion why Germany turned 180 degrees in opening its door to these migrants. It is beyond any doubt, that manpower is indeed the major reason why they are welcomed with more than an open arms.
MPO is that there is a blunder committed on this policy and Europe is in limbo on how to deal with it.
