Bet its warmer too. I never been west but people tell me its dry. Been told that -20 in ALB is easier to dress for than -10 here in NL.

No? Never been eh..Yes it is a lot drier here, I don't think I will ever get used to it, even after all these yrs.
The cold in winter is like dry ice..I can walk around in -46 weather here and not really feel it if your bundled up properly.
Not much moisture in the air..doh

Sounds like heaven to me, when it get about -10 and below here, there is no way to dress for it, the moisture cuts through your clothes and your cold. I am also told that in the summer because of the dry air, you can tolerate higher temps with getting overheated.

laugh I hear that! I remember I was sick all the time on the island with a cold, just from the moisture in the air aloneblues
One reason I did come west really, the difference in the air..Ahh but alas..I think I've outdone it now, the drier the air, the worse I feel..of course could be age creepin uprolling on the floor laughing

When I was roofing, the temp up there was approx. 25 degrees hotter than what the actual temp was..didn't bother me then grin
Just need to find that balance..in the air quality..and the roofrolling on the floor laughing

I don't do so well on roof's. I don't like heights, never did. A 1 story house isn't quite so bad but any higher and I just freeze up. I like to be on the ground lol.

Age is only a number, I know I am younger but thats what I have come to learn. I like the idea of knowing the things you can only learn with time.
