Zodiac trends or just coincidences?? (16)
Dragos1: I used to actually put a lot of emphasis on Zodiac signs and which ones that are supposedly best suited to be a good match.
After many years I kinda let go of that as there are many things besides a "zodiac sign" that make up a person if even that does or does not mean anything.
But I noticed and still notice that there has always been an abundance of possible "connections" that when I look or ask seem to be of one or maybe two that have the same sign. So I am curious if anyone else has noticed this or maybe I am just so bored I thought I would post another thread. LOL.... I guess we will see.

I've noticed the same thing as well so maybe there is something to it. Not sure, but it would be interesting to see how many others have noticed the same.

No doubt a lot of people put weight in star signs. Wasn't a bunch of astrologers guided by a star to find the baby Jesus? They must have had advanced navigation systems capable of triangulating their positions from a single position. In my opinion, I think it's backward to guide anyone's relations by a two dimensional picture that the zodiac signs present from earth.
What would be their influence or significance be if you could warp speed out into the universe and look at the stars from a different plane and perspective in a galaxy far far away to their left or right or from beneath or above them? They wouldn't even be recognizable.

Just as we may see the image of bunny rabbits in clouds, or the face of Jesus in a piece of toast, we have evolved to make sense of our worlds.
It's possible that when we see trends, or coincidences in zodiac signs it's a product of our cognitive functioning that is no more, or less special than the phenomenon of pareidolia.

Astrology, IMHO, just weighs in and assigns some generalities that many can ascribe to,....and it is all great fun.
Then again, as a Sag,...I am a great archer, and hung like a horse, so maybe the stars do have something to say about it!

Astrology is much more complicated and deep than the zodiac sign profiles and free online horoscopes...
Speaking from my own experience, trying to prove the zodiac sign compatibility wrong, I failed as many times as I tried...

yes, usually the thing we see on sites is a general description of "Sun signs", just one element or piece of the larger scope.
