To settle an argument, can anyone tell me,what check-ins on the new phones are all about,, can you be checked in automatically if you are away from home ,
for example, if i was in galway and had my phone on , would it come up on facebook that i had checkedin to a hotel in galway,, or do i have to manually put that into the phone for it to come up?
Sorry to be long winded , but don't know any other way to ask it.
I'm not sure but I think there is a little check in button on fb and that's all you do but I've never done it so don't know.

Neither have i, and i don;t want to
its just that someone that was supposed to be in Cork,
had a facebook notice that said that they checked in, in Galway.
So i don't think they knew much about it either
