britishcolumbian: Right on..........I take wild salmon oil pills..............very good buy at Costco
I take them too and mine are from an American Brand and I get them through Amazon yet i would like to get the fresh salmon right -a few meter- from my door step
USA has better regulations regarding to food safety and its content being accurate, so far.
There is a Peruvian Chef Virgilio, who believes that we should eat food that sometimes does not taste good but because it is good for our health. Well, I am a foodie but not that foodie
britishcolumbian: Hi I brought this subject back as you told the first time that Alaska did not have salmon. I had to check it out and was happy to say that Alaska does have 5 kinds I will only buy the wild salmon and hopefully it does not have as much mercury and dioxin.
King, must say that lately I am eating things that may not be so good for me but taste good. I am 80 years old so I say go for it girl, enjoy yourself

I'm pretty sure you've confused me with somebody else.
I've eaten and cooked a lot of Alaskan salmon in my life; and I'll bet you can't find a quote of me saying "Alaska did or does not have salmon."

Hi Kingdom, I tried to find it back where I talked about Alaska salmon but could not find it. I brought the subject back because, I believed it was you, told that Alaska had no salmon.
I'm not fond of Pacific salmon, I find Atlantic salmon more flavorful. Maybe if I had it fresh it would be better as it takes several days to move east.
Track16: Lots of people in my province smoke their own meat and fish. All sorts of different recipes depending on what your smoking.
Hi Track was in New Foundland about 20 years ago. We thought we were clever waiting for the "Little darlings" to be back in school. It backfired as the ferry now did not go to St. John. It took two days by car to get to St John and no one told us that we had no choice but to take the same road back so that was four days.
You are supposed to have a lot of moose but in those four days, we did not see one! Did enjoy fish and chips they were sure good. Friendly, helpful people on the :Rock"
