I took it for granted that my ex-husband would be around for a long time. After all he was only 45 years old.But then one day his mother called me and said "Bob is gone"
I said, gone where
She I've been calling him and he didn't answer so I went to his house and found him dead on the floor
I've never been shocked by anything since then, not even Sept. 11th
And I still think and feel the absolute sadness of losing him

That was 1975. Almost 50 years. There's something about having a child with someone. It's a bonding experience unlike a relationship of just a man and a woman.If I could ask for anything it would be for him to be alive to see how his daughter grew up to be a beautiful woman who has led a productive life. That is a long time..and totally understand that bond..I was together with My Wife for 22 years, and 2 sons, 30 and 39. Even tho we Divorced in 1999, she was the Love of My Life... she passed about 3 Years ago...If I could ask for anything it would be for him to be alive to see how his daughter grew up to be a beautiful woman who has led a productive life. Just one more day.....
