What a pipe dream! Honest and faithful?

One part of this that hasn't been brought up Tamara, is that people in general try to be truthful, straightforward, and honest. It is the situations that test there metal that truely expose the inside.
(I call it a quickening, like the Hylander movies)

Personally, I try really hard, but as the song says, I fall down, I get up. I have no problem admitting when I screwed up to a faithful friend, or someone I have wronged. (doh!) It is the God like forgive AND forget that gets most of us.

Anyone agree?

Some try harder than others. Most of us have had tough experiences in our lives that have caused the walls to go up. Many times we feel vulnerable when we expose our honesty to others.

I have made many mistakes in my life and it is not over yet, somehow those bad things were always made right in the end and my spirituality allows me to believe that honesty and faithfulness with your life partner makes for a much healthier relationship.

someone who is totally honest and faithful I think is a rare rare find. the longer we live the more things we experiences and more memories accumulate. To be totally honest.. I'm honest, totally? not quite. their are other people who a trust has been given, do I prove my honesty to you by betraying their trust??

considering if I answered every question about my past, experiences and the "have you ever done" .... total honesty is overrated. many ask for bu tfew want to accept the consequences of having a partner that has it. Imagine the popular question, "how do i look?" being answered with total honesty, all the time not just when you want the "total honesty" cause total is not an on and off switch kinda thing.

as for faithful, was last time and the time before that, so as being faithful goes I personnally am quite good at that. ( excuse the ego)

this was just an opinion (under the influence of darvocets)

The thing that always disappoints me is when someone who says they are honest and your friend turns out to be just a player.


Just hearing the words doesn't always mean the person means what they say

ITS LIKE OLE-FAITHFUL THE PIT FULL OF HOT AIR...NO BODY KNEW SHE COULD BE SO DEPENDABLE SO TRUSTED UNTIL THEY REALY WATCHED AND LISTENED TO WHAT SHE WAS SAYING ON THE INSIDE.

I agree, it seems just when we are able to feel trust for another, we are betrayed by them.

This is not always the case, I know each one of you have friends that you do honestly trust.

I found it... Windygrl was honest when she said get away from me you freak, and she has faithfully rejected me ever since..



So there...

Most people are honest and faithful.

Unfortunately this isn't what attracts people to each other.

If women were attracted to an honest and faithful man I'd have to beat them off with a club.

It doesn't happen.

They seem to be more interested in the bad boys.
